Overview
The Musee du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac showcases indigenous art and cultures from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. Designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 2006, the building was created with full accessibility in mind. A continuous ramp leads from the garden level up to the main gallery, and elevators serve all floors. The museum is known for its innovative exhibitions and its lush garden that screens it from the nearby Eiffel Tower.
